First Baptist Church, Mayodan

A Nursery is offered for children birth to 2 years of age at all of our regular service times. The nursery is located upstairs on the main hallway near the restrooms.

Extended Session is offered during  worship for children age 2--Kindergarten. The children learn Bible stories and about helping others during this time.  Extended Session meets in the 2 and 3 year old room upstairs.

Sunday School is for all ages from birth to adult. Sunday School begins each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. and ends around 10:45 a.m. In Sunday School, children learn how to love God, others, and themselves through Bible study, crafts, and games.

A Children's Church is offered during the 11:00 a.m. worship for children in 1st to 5th Grade.  Children will leave the sanctuary after the offering.

Children can learn music, Bible stories, missions, and variety of activities every Sunday night.  The children meet for their first class for 50 minutes and are served a snack supper. After supper, the children change classes for another 50 minute session. Sunday nights are a great time for children to learn about Christ and and study the Bible. All children's classes are downstairs and preschool classes are upstairs.

Mission Friends, Girls in Action, and Royal Ambassdors meet every Wednesday night from 7 to 8 p.m. for 2 years through 6th grade.  Mission Friends meets upstairs in the 2 and 3 year old classroom.  The girls meet for Girls in Action in the Young Musicians classroom and the boys meet for Royal Ambassadors in the 5th grade classroom. All groups study the Bible, missions, missionaries, and how to help people around the world know Christ's love.
