First Baptist Church Mayodan

Homecoming Information:

  FBC Mayodan Homecoming will be held at McMichael High School on

September 12th. The service starts at 10:30 with Rev. Mark Gray bringing the message and both the Choir and Praise Team providing the music. Lunch will follow in the school cafeteria. Please bring a covered dish, and be aware  there will be no way of "reheating" food. We will not have access to the kitchen. Also, please bring a serving utensil for your dish as well.

When: September 16 @ McMichael High School

The Semi Annual Meeting of the Dan Valley Baptist Association will be held on Thursday, September 23.  Messengers need to meet at the church by 5:00 p.m. to travel to Eden First Baptist for the meeting. Dinner and transportation will be provided.  Please call the church office it you are not able to attend.

 will be held October 23rd at the Ponderosa Golf Club in Stoneville NC.  It will be a 4 man team Captains Choice format with Shotgun starts at 9am and 1:30pm.  Anyone wishing to help or to play can contact Johnny Bowman at 427-4916 or 634-7777.  Sign up sheets will be outside Gracanne's office.

Blue Naples Pizza Italian Restaurant would like to offer the Mayodan First Baptist church the opportunity to raise funds, while enjoying a delicious Taste of Italy!! They will donate 10% of ALL orders (dine-in AND take out) from FBC members and friends on Thursday nights from 5pm to 8pm to the church. Just be sure to mention that you are there to help support the church and they will do the rest.

Volunteers are needed to help with Extended Session (children 2 to 5 years old) during the 11:00 am worship service. You would only be ask to stay once a quarter (4 times a year). We have teaching materials available with stories and activities. If you would be able to help with this very important ministry, please contact Gracanne Mitchell in the church office at 548-2565.

Ken and Kim Knight are having  a Small Group Study on Godly marriages. They are meeting every Sunday at 5:00 p.m.

Two different Bible reading guides are available in the church vestibule to help you read through the Bible in one year.  Please take one.  Also, a magazine called “Living with Teenagers” is available for parents on the magazine rack in outside the church sanctuary.
