Current Menu

Angel Food Ministries is a great program to assist people with their
grocery needs in communities throughout the United States. The
program began in 1994 with 34 families in Georgia and has grown to
serve hundreds of thousands of families every
month across 32 states. Angel Food Ministries crosses
denominational lines and has
spread the good news of the gospel of Christ through salvation tracts
that are placed in
each food order.

There are no qualifications to purchase the food.    The menu
changes each month and includes first rate and name brand
products. We take cash, checks, and food stamps.

Angel Food is available in a quantity that can fit into a medium-sized
box. Generally, one “Regular Box” of food assists in feeding a family
of four for about one week for $30 or a single senior citizen for almost
a month. The food is all the same high quality one would purchase at
a grocery store.

If you are interested in more information or possibly purchasing food
through Angel Food Ministries, you should:

1. View this month’s menu by clicking on the “Current Menu” link on
this page, OR visit www.angelfoodministries.com to view menus each
month and for more information about the First Baptist Church,
Mayodan host site.

2. Click on the “Order & Delivery Dates” link for specific order and
distribution days for the First Baptist Church, Mayodan host site.

3. Payment must be made when an order is placed. All orders are
due by the Monday order date deadline @ 1pm. No exceptions. See
the “Order & Delivery Dates” link.

4. Orders may be placed using one of the following methods:
•        A box is setup in the church with order forms and current menu.
Complete the order form and place it along with your check in the
box. Please do NOT put orders with cash in the box.

•        Place an order using cash, checks and EBT/Food stamps with
the Angel Food volunteer at the church on the dates & times listed
below on the “Order & Delivery Dates” link.

•        Mail a check and completed order form to the church at least 5
business days before the Monday order deadline. NOTE:
Forms/payment received after the order deadline cannot be

•        Place an order on the distribution day for the next month when
you pick up your order. This is the fastest, easiest and cheapest
order option. No extra time, gas or postage involved!!

5. Bring a box, cooler, insulated food bag, laundry basket for each
$30.00 box that you purchase.

6. All food orders must be picked up between 8:30 am – 9:30 am on
the distribution day. Any food not picked up by 9:30 am will be
donated to someone in need. NO EXCEPTIONS. We will “try” to call
you using the phone number you provide on the order form if you are
not there by 9:15 AM.

7. If you can not pick up your food, give your receipt to the person that
will be picking
it up for you to present to us on distribution day.
